"The lights were put to the test with multiple weather events in fall/winter 2012. The first was a torrential rain event. The feedback was very positive and was stated the lights were very visible and delineated the road lines well. The second was a heavy fog event that reduced visibility to approximately 250 feet, yet the lights were easily seen. There were multiple snow events where the lights were documented as having 3” of snow on them yet still charged and illuminated, which was pretty impressive considering the overcast conditions and snow on top of the light itself. One location we placed the lights has a tower light and due to the fog’s density it was ineffective, however the solar lights were still seen easily.”
